Social Work Indigenous Strategies is available for program design, implementation and evaluation services.

I.S. Program Design is grounded in social justice and decolonization efforts.  Direct services to urban and tribal communities are available upon request.  All program will be designed to emphasize the strength of Native children and their families.

I.S. Program Implementation ensures quality programming through changing needs of clients.  We have created several programs tailored to the specific needs of clients, most recently the Native Wellness Program for the Arizona School for the Blind, Native American Student Association.

I.S. Evaluation utilizines the Indigenous Evaluation Framework, as created by the American Indian Higher Education Consortium.  This Framework allows for the integration of qualitative and quantitative data to allow a holistic picture of your program.

I.S. will be collaborating with UA College of Education and Ironwood Tree Experience on a two year project to examine ways to engage Native American boys in Education, Tribal Lifeways and Land Stewardship.  We are grateful to the Agnese Haury Foundation for allowing us the opportunity to thoughtfully approach this topic.
The Gathering of Educators registration is open!  Click under events and sign up for a day of professional development focused on the needs of educators and administrators of schools with high Native American student populations!
